Apple Final 2: Direct Painting - Alla Prima

Yep, the shadow was a little too much for me, below is the original final and then the final with a more muted shadow:

    Yes to the muted shadow! It looks nice. I also like the curved outline of the apple slice on the left; the various blue and red colors are really fun.
